It is There for a Reason!!!

It is There for a Reason!!! As I continue in the Book of Leviticus, I want to reiterate what I have said in the past. What is written has, is, or will happen. The warning is being given. As I recount what is mentioned in the 18th chapter, this continues, and it is considered to be a form of wickedness. I want to bring these things to your remembrance. Even if you didn’t know, the cloak is being removed. There will be no excuse. “Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, ‘Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, I am the LORD your God. You shall not do what is done in the land of Egypt where you lived, and you shall not do what is done in the land of Canaan where I am bringing you. You shall not follow their statutes (practices, customs)’” (Leviticus 18: 1-3, AMP). While going through this you may be thinking that you are well aware that these things are wrong. But you will still do them. I will clarify that if it would not be a problem, God would not be addressing this. Read,...
Be Holy for I am Holy!!! Let me debunk the thing that many will do. You cannot wait until you are on your death bed and think that if you confess your sins all will be forgiven. That you will be allowed to see God’s face in peace. Pay attention! “Again, when a wicked man turns away from all his transgressions which he had committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life. Because he considered and turned away from all the transgressions which he had committed, he shall certainly live; he shall not die” (Ezekiel 18: 27-28, AMP). How can you walk in the paths of righteousness when you can’t walk. You are on your death bed, literally. God will not be mocked. Now back to Nadab and Abihu. God’s Word confirms what I have written. “Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace” (Leviticus 10: 3, KJV). This was the wisest dec...

Guilty or Not, Repent!!!

Guilty or Not, Repent!!! I am reading in the book of Leviticus and the Spirit is impressing upon me the importance of repentance. That even when done out of ignorance, we must not be callous in asking for forgiveness. Repentance was never meant to be taken lightly. God commanded that it be done immediately. As soon as you are aware of the trespass. The sacrificing of unblemished animals was to show pure and sincere penitence. This was required of the priests, leaders, the individual, and even the entire congregation. The significant reason for the priests to ask for forgiveness is that when they sin, that guilt is attributed to all of the people. Meditate on that. Particularly for those who excuse them. As if we are gods. Notice that these are for those who sin out of ignorance. Because even when committed unknowingly, His Word pronounces our guilt. (Pay attention!) And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; t...

Virtues of True Leaders!!!

Virtues of True Leaders!!! As I continue in the Book of Exodus, Moses has burned the calf and ground it to powder and dust.  It made me think of an action that parents would take when their children would speak in a profane language or lie. They would threaten and some actually would wash their children's mouth out with soap. It tasted so bad (from mistakenly getting it in my mouth during a bath) that it would make you think twice before doing it again. The taste of soap is not easily forgotten. Moses made them drink of their sin. Then he asked Aaron a deeply disturbing question. “Then Moses said to Aaron, ‘What did this people do to you, that you have brought so great a sin on them?’” (Exodus 32: 21, AMP). Remember that Aaron was a priest. This is being perpetuated by many "leaders" today that actually hate you. The way he answered says a lot. That they were prone to evil. In other words, “I just gave them what they wanted”. He stood as they were running around naked a...

A Reckless Form of Salvation!!!

A Reckless Form of Salvation!!! Many of us look to others to work out our salvation through them. While it is wise to have sagacious leaders, we should not overwhelm them in our selfishness. God has given us all talents and just as there are many disciplines in healthcare, we see the travesty when we neglect these different parts. When we are not of one accord, lives are lost. How easily we use our gifts for worldly things. These were intended by God, not only to edify Him, but as an expression of His love for us. Given to us to add beauty and comfort to our lives as we worship Him from a foundation of moral compass. Moses was given meticulous instructions for the building of the ark and the tabernacle of the congregation. In the LORD's omnipotence He designed it to be pleasing to all of our senses. But even then, as it is now, many are not given over to wisdom. Read, listen, or watch in its entirety at  Benevolent Woman

The Sacrifices of the LORD!!!

The Sacrifices of the LORD!!! All of the blood leaving the stomach and intestines pass through the liver. The liver filters, detoxifies, and breaks down poisonous substances. The kidneys remove wastes from the blood and returns “clean” blood back to the body. Two of the most beneficial organs that were to be offered on the altar as symbols of purification. The meat or flesh, the intestines, which holds much of the body’s waste were to be burnt outside of the camp. Here are three examples of why this is so significant. 1a) “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be” (Romans 8: 5-7, KJV). Read, listen, or watch in its entirety at  Benevolent Woman
