  Who Are You in Covenant With?!! So, here are two definitions of sensuous: 1) A total devotion to gratifying bodily appetites, often characterized as a sin of the flesh. It is associated with unrestrained, indulgent, and shameless behavior, that disregards moral limits, often translated from the Greek aselgeia (licentiousness/lasciviousness ) which signifies lewdness and lack of self-control. And 2) A life governed by base, fleshly desires, physical senses, or unbridled lust rather than the Holy Spirit. It is associated with selfishness, debauchery, and wantonness. Often listed alongside sins like sexual impurity and envy. Sensual is also derived from the Greek word psychikos (natural/unspiritual).
