God's Patience is Wearing Thin

This morning as I commune with the LORD, he took me to another place in His Word in Ezekiel 12, 13, and 14. The LORD prophesied that the people would be forced to leave their homes and places of refuge, and some will be devoured by the sword, famine, predatory beasts, and disease.

That the false prophets who have destroyed the righteous and uplifted the evil, causing discouragement and death for the former and a false sense of security for the latter, will receive their recompense along with the inquirer that is willing to believe a lie. Because they prophesy peace when there is no peace.

They love their idols, then choose to come to God's prophets, in times of trouble or double-mindedness, and say, "What does the LORD say?". The LORD will answer them himself. And they will no longer be able to say that these things will not come upon us for years. In other words, we won't see it in our lifetime!

Where in times past the LORD spared the sinners with the righteous, He will no longer do so. The good and upright will be spared and not even son or daughter, or mother or father, that are unworthy, will be absolved. The unrighteous that may be spared will be a testimony for their deeds, to see if they will accept accountability. And when the upright may think that God is judging them too harshly, their own actions and profane words will speak to His righteous judgment.

I pray that He is merciful, but as I have said in times past, "God gets tired too!!!" This even applies to His people and the strangers living among them. All will be judged equally, because what we forget most often is that He is not a respector of persons.

When the LORD Goes Before You!!!

When the LORD Goes Before You!!! “Know [without any doubt], that the LORD your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked (stubborn, obstinate) people. Remember [with remorse] and do not forget how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness; from the day you left the land of Egypt until you arrived at this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD. And at Horeb (Sinai) you provoked the LORD to wrath, and the LORD was so angry with you that He would have destroyed you” (Deuteronomy 9: 4-8, AMP). Many of us focus on Moses' fasting for forty days and forty nights. But he had to go back up for a second time, for forty more days and nights, hewing two tablets of stone himself, as he fasted and prayed for the lives of the Israelites, including his brother Aaron. In God’s mercy they spent forty years in the wilderness, and He was not wrong if He would have condemned them to eighty years. Before we procee...

Why Jesus Put Away Distractors!!!

Why Jesus Put Away Distractors!!! Many may not believe this, but the atmosphere is a determinant to the outcome for any situation. The Holy Spirit and prayer brings peace and success in all things. Years ago, and even now, I have had many times when I would ask colleagues for help, and they would say “Okay” and then just keep fraternizing with one another as if I wasn’t there. Then the LORD would speak to my spirit, annoyed with their behavior saying, “You don’t need them. We will figure it out together”. And when we accomplished the task, these same nurses would look shocked and appalled. Teamwork is critical in healthcare. Brainstorming, collaboration, and critical thinking is vital. Particularly in emergent situations. But what I have noticed is that many believe that they can damage your esteem or make you feel less than by ignoring your very presence. This may be done throughout a hierarchy. But it only speaks to their psyches. Or they have a compensity to want to make you feel th...

The Power of Prayer!!!

The Power of Prayer!!! This evening, I found out that someone that I cared for on many occasions had died. It broke my heart because she was critically injured during an altercation, and no one said anything to me about it until it was too late. She hung on for a few days after but succumbed to her injury. The LORD spoke to my spirit that she was given time to allow someone the opportunity to intercede for her. It is what hurt me more than anything. In the past I remember two performers, Gregory Hines and Luther Vandross who were sick around the same time. The former whose illness was kept a secret, and the latter, who had loved ones ask the public to pray for him. Luther Vandross recovered and survived for two more years while Gregory Hines died in the self-same year of 2003. And as both of these individuals were being discussed, it was made clear that this was the result of the power of prayer. And I never forgot this because I knew that this was of God. Death is final. And if ...
