The Lord's Promise

As I am reading 1 Samuel, Saul continues to pursue David. That in every trial and tribulation of David, the Holy Spirit was showing him the importance of resting in Him and believing His promises. God was purging him to bring forth more fruit.

Through God's Word it is so obvious that when you seek Him, you will never walk in darkness. David allowed God to lead him, and he trusted Him.

As Saul's iniquity was becoming full, he had the high priest Ahimelech and 85 other priests along with everyone else in the city killed, with the exception of Ahimelech's son who had escaped. David was presented with an opportune moment, when Saul entered the cave where David and his men were hiding. David cut off the hem of his robe and immediately the Holy Spirit convicted him.

Before presenting to Saul the evidence and the opportunity to destroy him David apologized and admonished his men for even suggesting that he commit this heinous act. It would have been just as cowardly as Saul attempting to kill David when he thought he was too ill to leave his bed.

David's Mercy

David prayed and prophesied to Saul, speaking out of his mouth of his ability to end Saul's life and how he didn't, and how Saul continued to pursue David as if he were an animal. Confessing that he never wronged Saul, but that Saul's wickedness was from within. It was truly who he was. He then asked God to judge and render judgement between he and Saul, to plead his case, and to vindicate him.

Nevertheless, when David was amongst Nabal's men, he was still honorable. Not only was he caring for all of the men who were with him, but he even cared for strangers and defended cities. Many of those, who were willing to betray David to Saul at any moment if it would be profitable for them.

Nabal treated David and his men with contempt, and I can imagine David's anguish and anger. David's men were depending on him. They were tired, hungry, and probably starting to become discouraged.

The Lord's Mercy

David had humbled himself to ask another man to provide for his people. A man whom he helped but was so stubborn and evil that he actually had become arrogant enough to believe that he was a god. At that moment David snapped. He swore that no one would live to see the end of that day.

Conversely, this is where God stepped in to show him, "If you just trust in ME, I will give you everything that I promised you, and that because I love you so much, you will not fail. I am honoring your prayers born of the Spirit. Vengeance is mine!!!".

The Lord was showing him that He hears the prayers of the righteous and has the power to move the heavens and earth to bring them to pass. A gift when the Spirit intercedes on your behalf.

The Power of Feminine Energy

Moreover, let us think of Abigail and what she had to put up with. I can tell that even being a woman, Nabal's servants and the men of his household had a great respect for her. She had wisdom and discernment. Obviously from how she humbly encouraged David, she knew who he was. The prophetic Word that she spoke over his life confirms her relationship with the Spirit. She did not hesitate in her submissiveness while begging for her and her household's lives.

Even so, there was no pride or fear in her. She was resting in her feminine energy. She complimented his strength and character, while supporting him. I believe that she was definitely the woman for David. It is understandable why he married her.

Nabal showed his narcissistic contempt for her and how he must have taken her for granted. Considering the extensive preparations that she went through to meet David. He either assumed that the preparatory measures were for him, or that he paid such little attention to her that he wasn't even aware that she had a life outside of him.

I believe that Nabal was only blessed for her sake and for those that served him, and that she was the driving force behind his success. It speaks clearly to her business savvy. As for Nabal, he only had one advantage at that time. He was a man.

The Conclusion

Jesus showed David that as long as he trusted and followed Him with all his heart, the LORD would make him a secure and everlasting house. A promise that can only be found and manifested through faith and continued refinement in Him. As one pastor preached recently, "indomitable faith!".

Consequently, we need to understand David because of the promises that Jesus has made to us. We should not fret when our enemies foolishly think that they can come for us.

God reveals their cunning, crafty spirits to us and through others and even certain circumstances. He shows us that he is protecting us even when we are not aware. It is then up to us to be obedient and to walk accordingly.

The more we trust Him in the little things, the more refined we will become. The more my faith increases, the more intimate my relationship with Him becomes. The more in tuned I am with his Spirit, the greater things He begins to show me. Along with the elevation that will take me higher in Him.

"There are levels to this walk with Him!!!"

The Covenant Keeper!!!

The Covenant Keeper!!! It is clear to me that we are to trust God and not men. I want to make it clear as spiritual warfare is being ramped up. And why I needed to be reminded of the above as I expound on this as it permeates the earth. Even more grievously in health care. “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren” (Proverbs 6: 16-19, KJV). As you meditate on this, ask God to reveal the “wicked imaginations” such as putting a pig's heart in a man. The “proud look” (the attitude that makes one overestimate oneself and discount others, AMPLIFIED). Such as those who deem themselves “gods”. That they should be able to choose who lives or dies. The sowing of discord. The constant workplace bullying, harassment, and hostile...

No Bullying Allowed!!!

No Bullying Allowed!!!  Please understand that boundaries were not only set for Israel, but for all the nations of the earth. They were meant to be honored and not transgressed upon. God is just. He did not allow looting unless the iniquity of a nation was full and they were being judged by Him. It was only then that even the Israelites were allowed to take the spoil. Greed is not in His character. It is not necessary. “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the fields are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof” (Psalm 50: 10-12, KJV). This is the lesson that was given so the Israelites would know how these same “giants” and great nations were conquered by their ancestors in the past. Pay attention as we go back to how Abraham saved Lot from Chedorlaomer and three other kings with their armies, who had just defeated fiv...

The Wisdom of God's Laws!!!

The Wisdom of God's Laws!!! As I listen to the diatribe of men and women in leadership, the psychopathic, recalcitrant behaviors, I notice that there is a severe break in perception. Psychosis is pervading the minds of many. And the truly frightening thing is that it is becoming the "normal" state of being. A “trickle-down effect” being effectively spewed to the masses. The Holy Spirit had me to do some research as He was confirming to me that this is of Him. Educating me that racism is one type or form of psychosis. Discussions were held in the past to classify this type of ideology as a mental health disorder. Why do you think that it never happened? As we continue I want to touch on one of the most egregious forms of idolatry. The most popular depiction of Jesus Christ by Warner Sallman, “The Head of Christ”. Through a partnership with two publishing companies. One Protestant and the other Catholic. Along with other portraits combining “gods” and pagans. All wit...
