  Face to Face: A Friend of God!!! “And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee. And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again. And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again” (Numbers 12: 13-15, KJV). Suffice it to say that God was wroth with them both. But Miriam showed more indifference. A lack of empathy towards this other woman. She could have mentored her and befriended her and given her insight into Moses’s likes and dislikes. From her knowledge and experiences with him as his sister. We as women, particularly of the tribe of Judah are quick to throw one another under the bus. A trait that a truly Godly man finds off-putting. These women lack wisdom and knowledge of one of the curses that plague us. Showing apathy and indifference t...

  Our God is a Consuming Fire!!! Did I digress? “The rabble among them [who followed Israel from Egypt] had greedy desires (lust) [for familiar and delicious food], and the Israelites wept again and said, ‘Who will give us meat to eat? We remember the fish we ate freely and without cost in Egypt, the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic. But now our appetite is gone; there is nothing at all [in the way of food] to be seen but this manna” (Numbers 11: 4-5, AMP). They whined so much that even Moses almost forgot who God is. This is spiritual warfare. Even the man of God was not exempt. Pay attention! “Now Moses heard the people whining [in self-pity] throughout their families, every man at the doorway of his tent; and the anger of the LORD blazed hotly, and Moses regarded their behavior as evil. So Moses said to the LORD, ‘Why have You been so hard on your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You have placed this burden of all these people on me? Read, l...

  Blessed to Be God's Chosen!! “The LORD bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you]; The LORD make His face shine upon you [with favor], and be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness]; The LORD lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], and give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’ (Numbers 6: 24-26, AMP). It is a commandment. “Then the LORD spake to Moses, saying, ‘Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the way you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them:’” (v. 22-23). Be holy for He is holy. “And they shall put My name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them” (v. 27, KJV). This blessing follows the ordinances of consecration for the Nazarite. For a time when they separated themselves to the LORD, he or she is holy. And God in His infinite grace and mercy separated Himself unto the people of Israel.   Blessings and Curses (Part Two)!!! I will pause for a moment. This is why many of you hate and are treacherous toward your own people. Sacrificing one another. It is a curse. YOU are cursed! “And you will have no power to stand before your enemies. You will perish among the nations; the land of your enemies will consume you. Those of you who are left will rot away because of their wickedness in the lands of your enemies; also because of the wickedness of their forefathers they will rot away like them” (Leviticus 26: 36-39, AMP). Listen, read, or watch part one to understand how you are being “consumed”. Whether by finances, destruction, or wasting away. They are even eating, and drinking you literally, from the babies to adults. It is why many babies die during childbirth. Our kids go missing. We are hunted. Think about that.   Blessings or Curses!!! “I, in turn, will do this to you: I will appoint over you sudden terror, consumption, and fever that will waste away the eyes and cause the soul to languish also. And you will sow your seed uselessly, for your enemies will eat what you plant” (Leviticus 26: 16, AMP). As a nurse I see this daily. Consumption in the Bible has multiple meanings: 1) The act of consuming 2) Waste 3) Destruction 4) The state of being wasted and diminished 5) A wasting of flesh And 6) A gradual decay or diminution of the body. People are coming in with what starts as a scratch, even by pets, or any foreign object, ending in cellulitis, osteomyelitis, and other illnesses. But the flesh is literally wasting in an area, that seems to never fully heal until the whole system is affected and infected. Read, watch, or listen at  Benevolent Woman
