His Grace is Sufficient!!!

 His Grace is Sufficient!!!

Here again is the confirmation that to whom much is given, much is required. Moses’s anointing was so great that God expected him to pour into others. To take of himself when required. He commanded Moses more than once. But remember, it should always be at God’s command because it is never to be taken lightly. “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you” (Matthew 7: 6, KJV).

Here are two instances in which the LORD commanded Moses to do so. Focus on the magnitude of the sanctification given unto him.

1) “And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that when the Spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease” (Numbers 11: 25, KJV).

And 2) “The LORD said to Moses, ‘Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him; and have him stand before Eleazar the priest and before the whole congregation, and give him a commission in their sight. You shall put some of your authority and honor on him, so that all the congregation of the Israelites will obey him” (Numbers 27: 18-20, AMP).

This reaffirms that it is God who calls and appoints man into the ministry. Who prepares man according to the gifts that are bestowed upon him. Joshua was being prepared right under the nose of Moses whom himself was not even aware until God called Joshua.

What the LORD gave Moses was sufficient from the beginning. He did not have to go back and add more to him. Because after it is given, it is up to us to remain rooted in Him. It is our responsibility to replenish the oil, and to store more oil. God’s grace is sufficient to us.

Also know that it is up to us to be an example to all, especially those who are called, expecting that they should be greater than ourselves. To pour oil into and light the wick of others. This is of God. It is at this point where I was able to give a title to this post. Because you never know who is watching! “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2: 15, KJV).

“And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation: and he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses” (Numbers 27: 22-23, KJV).

When the LORD Goes Before You!!!

When the LORD Goes Before You!!! “Know [without any doubt], that the LORD your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked (stubborn, obstinate) people. Remember [with remorse] and do not forget how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness; from the day you left the land of Egypt until you arrived at this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD. And at Horeb (Sinai) you provoked the LORD to wrath, and the LORD was so angry with you that He would have destroyed you” (Deuteronomy 9: 4-8, AMP). Many of us focus on Moses' fasting for forty days and forty nights. But he had to go back up for a second time, for forty more days and nights, hewing two tablets of stone himself, as he fasted and prayed for the lives of the Israelites, including his brother Aaron. In God’s mercy they spent forty years in the wilderness, and He was not wrong if He would have condemned them to eighty years. Before we procee...

Sanctify Your Vessel in Holiness!!!

Sanctify Your Vessel in Holiness!!! People say that they love their family and friends and believe that it gives them the right to overlook evil. That they should hold themselves higher than God Himself by saying, “I absolve you of your sin”. Who would ignore the Holy Scriptures because they feel sorry for them and because they themselves are full of transgression. So that while they overlook wrongdoing in others, the same should be done unto them. I spoke to my daughter, that my children will say, I love my brothers and sisters, but you don’t love each other enough to warn them of impending judgment. A judgment that has two outcomes. Darkness and torment in a lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels, where the worm dieth not. Where you have been given a new body that will withstand torment that only God can inflict, that will never be utterly destroyed. A horror that lasts forever. Or the reassurance given by God Himself. “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor e...
When Your Heart is Hardened (Part One)!!! At the very beginning of the plagues, Pharaoh asked Moses and Aaron for a sign, to prove themselves, and God’s sovereignty. Had he taken heed he would have seen the outcome then. “And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods” (Exodus 7: 10-12, KJV). God demonstrated His authority to Pharaoh and is why these plagues were written. To be passed down from generation to generation. It is why those who continue to ask for a sign, condemn themselves to judgment. Revealing the spirit of rebellion. This is by far, the most exhaustive paradigm ever recorded. “A wicked and adulterou...
