Why Jesus Put Away Distractors!!!
Many may not believe this, but the atmosphere is a determinant to the outcome for any situation. The Holy Spirit and prayer brings peace and success in all things.
Years ago, and even now, I have had many times when I would ask colleagues for help, and they would say “Okay” and then just keep fraternizing with one another as if I wasn’t there. Then the LORD would speak to my spirit, annoyed with their behavior saying, “You don’t need them. We will figure it out together”. And when we accomplished the task, these same nurses would look shocked and appalled.
Teamwork is critical in healthcare. Brainstorming, collaboration, and critical thinking is vital. Particularly in emergent situations. But what I have noticed is that many believe that they can damage your esteem or make you feel less than by ignoring your very presence. This may be done throughout a hierarchy. But it only speaks to their psyches.
Or they have a compensity to want to make you feel that you don’t know how to do anything without them teaching you. Katt Williams once said, "It's called 'self-esteem' for a reason." To which I say, "Duh." Because the offenders will never see that.
I am an advent learner, so I will allow this behavior because I have experienced that God can speak through anyone at any time. You just need the discernment to know what, and which part is of Him. “The [reverent] fear of the LORD [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; But arrogant fools despise [skillful and godly] wisdom and instruction and self-discipline” (Proverbs 1: 7, AMP). Do you see how this should go both ways? I left a position in the past because once it was determined that I might be able to teach someone something new, it was met with such vitriol and enmity. How dare I? I did not leave out of fear but of the discernment of the LORD. Know when to shake the dust off your feet.
