The Power of Prayer!!!

This evening, I found out that someone that I cared for on many occasions had died. It broke my heart because she was critically injured during an altercation, and no one said anything to me about it until it was too late. She hung on for a few days after but succumbed to her injury.

The LORD spoke to my spirit that she was given time to allow someone the opportunity to intercede for her. It is what hurt me more than anything.

In the past I remember two performers, Gregory Hines and Luther Vandross who were sick around the same time. The former whose illness was kept a secret, and the latter, who had loved ones ask the public to pray for him. Luther Vandross recovered and survived for two more years while Gregory Hines died in the self-same year of 2003. And as both of these individuals were being discussed, it was made clear that this was the result of the power of prayer. And I never forgot this because I knew that this was of God.

Death is final. And if you have not lived according to the laws and statutes of God, in right standing according to His will, then it is “a wrap” as they say. You don’t get a second chance. Your outcome has been finalized. I don’t know why this is not understood by people. This used to be the message preached at funerals all the time. But as usual, we hear what we want to hear. Even when it is too late.

I hear people say all the time, “They lived a good life and now they are in heaven”. Many times, I think to myself, “How do you know? Did they really know God? Did they have an intimate relationship with Jesus?” Or are you one of many who believe that certain attributes and entitlement automatically get you a pass, even as you live ungodly lives and did, or defended, or overlooked every manner of evil?

No Bullying Allowed!!! Please understand that boundaries were not only set for Israel, but for all the nations of the earth. They were meant to be honored and not transgressed upon. God is just. He did not allow looting unless the iniquity of a nation was full and they were being judged by Him. It was only then that even the Israelites were allowed to take the spoil. The Covenant Keeper!!! It is clear to me that we are to trust God and not men. I want to make it clear as spiritual warfare is being ramped up. And why I needed to be reminded of the above as I expound on this as it permeates the earth. Even more grievously in health care. “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren” (Proverbs 6: 16-19, KJV). As you meditate on this, ask God to reveal the “wicked imaginations” such as putting a pig's heart in a man. The “proud look” (the attitude that makes one overestimate oneself and discount others, AMPLIFIED). Such as those who deem themselves “gods”. That they should be able to choose who lives or dies. The Wisdom of God's Laws!!! As I listen to the diatribe of men and women in leadership, the psychopathic, recalcitrant behaviors, I notice that there is a severe break in perception. Psychosis is pervading the minds of many. And the truly frightening thing is that it is becoming the "normal" state of being. A “trickle-down effect” being effectively spewed to the masses. The Holy Spirit had me to do some research as He was confirming to me that this is of Him. Educating me that racism is one type or form of psychosis.
